These women of the Sixties and Seventies took to the streets and fought in courts of law to procure access to contraception and safe medical terminations for us.
You don’t have to agree with abortion, but just because you don’t believe in it doesn’t mean that it should be denied to those who truly need it.
Who would wish a return to girls and women dying in dirty kitchens from botched abortions? Who would look at a fellow woman, a victim of rape, and force her to carry a child that she may not want? And what madness is going on in the world that a woman suffers the tragedy of a miscarriage and is held criminally accountable? 
We have fought long and hard for these rights. There are people in positions of power who want to take these away from you, want us to return to a position of subordination and dependency. Don’t let them!
